
Michael Swickard was born at Holloman Air Force Base in 1950. He has had a number of careers related to the media and education.
In 1998, he was awarded a doctorate in educational administration, with an emphasis in distance learning technology, from New Mexico State University.
He resides in Las Cruces and is an educational consultant. He recently spent five years in talk radio, and has been a columnist much of his adult life.
