The Community Foundation of Chaves County presented the Assistance League of Chaves County with a $500 grant recently for their KAPS (Kids Are Pretty Special) Program to help Chaves County CASA.
“Grant support from the Community Foundation enables the Assistance League to say ‘yes’ when CASA needs supplies for removing children from abusive environments. Thank you to the Community Foundation for helping us serve children in need.” said Jean Maley, Assistance League of Chaves County president.
The Assistance League of Chaves County is a non-profit volunteer service organization dedicated to the needs of residents through programs and services in our community.
The Community Foundation of Chaves County’s grant program supports community development, health and human services, arts and humanities, and other non-profit organizations’ projects designed to improve the quality of life in Chaves County.
