HOBBS – The Steve Pearce campaign announced today it raised $462, 665 between April 1st and June 30th bringing its total more than $1.5 million raised. The campaign now has more than $1 million on hand.
Pearce, who is the Republican nomination for New Mexico’s Congressional District 3 seat, said voters in the state want leadership.
“The outpouring of support for my campaign from thousands of New Mexicans is yet another sign that they are hungry for leadership in Washington,” he said. “Families are struggling and the liberals in Washington are failing to lead our country towards economic recovery.”
This marks the 4th consecutive quarter Pearce has outraised his opponent in this campaign. Democrat Harry Teague had raised more than $667,000 from mainly special interest groups, unions and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi before Pearce even entered the race.
“I am humbled and thankful for the support of so many fellow New Mexicans,” Peace added. “The momentum continues to be on our side and I will continue to lead the fight to get our economy back on track.”
